Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. It's been a long time getting around to setting up the blog title page and I have to thank Carol and George on nb Rock'nRoll for their advice and to Sue on nb No Problem for her patience in sorting out the photo sizing and other things. I've had 38 hits so far and there has been nothing on the page until now, so someones looking!
I'm not sure what to start with. There is a lot of historical stuff about my previous cruises that I could put on here and it would fill a lot of space. Maybe that would be a good place to begin, as it would give me some experience of posting text and photos. Watch this space.

- After thirty years of hiring, I finally bought my own 50ft boat in 2005, which was built in 2001 by Andicraft at Debdale Wharf. I mostly cruise single handed and have no problem with that, although it does take a little longer than with a crew. My mooring is on the Wey Navigation, so I have a choice of routes on the Wey or the Thames.
